Nusa Dua Resorts with Waterslides (2026)
A good waterslide can make a family holiday, and plenty of Nusa Dua resorts have one. The Grand Hyatt Bali is my top pick, thanks to its 50-metre slide, the biggest in the area, at a mid-range price. You can see all the other options below.
My favourites come first. Further down are two hotels I don’t recommend overall, but their slides are good enough that slide-mad kids might change the maths for your family.
Grand Hyatt Bali
I think the Grand Hyatt has the best slide in Nusa Dua. The River Pool has two: a 50-metre slide that runs down a grassy hill into a splash pool, and a little one for toddlers.
Grown-ups can go on the big one too. The slides are part of the pool, so there’s no kids club fee to use them.
The catch: the rooms are dated. This is a classic 1990s Bali hotel, and you’ll notice it straight away. I’d take that trade for the pools at this price.
Book it if the slide is the whole point of the trip.
Skip it if stylish new rooms matter more than the pools.
Paradisus by Meliá Bali
Paradisus has the closest thing to a water park in Nusa Dua. The Aquazone has several slides. The Kidsdom kids club sits right next to it.
This is the old Meliá Bali, reopened in February 2026 after a big rebuild, so it’s the newest slide set-up on the list.
The catch: the price. Most rates are all-inclusive, which is poor value if your family doesn’t eat much.
Book it if your kids want a water park and you want every meal sorted.
Skip it if one good slide is enough.
The Westin Resort Nusa Dua, Bali
The Westin has a 12-metre slide in the main pool, coming off a rock formation with a waterfall. Because it’s in the main pool, not a separate kids pool, the whole family is in the same spot.
I like the Westin more than its reputation suggests. Even the entry rooms come with two double beds, and the kids club is free. It’s also right on the beach inside the gated centre.
The catch: the rooms are being refurbished, with work running from 9 am to 6 pm daily and no end date. If you land next to a block being worked on, it’s loud. The main pool is also over 2 metres at the deep end, so toddlers belong in the kids pool.
Book it if you want a slide, the beach and a free kids club in one resort.
Skip it if your kids want a long slide. The Grand Hyatt's is four times the length.
The Apurva Kempinski Bali
The Kempinski’s slide is in the kids pool beside the main beachfront pool. It’s a kids’ slide, not a thrill ride, but I think little kids will love it.
I’d book it for the resort, with the slide as a bonus. The Jalak Family Club takes kids up to 12 and runs from 8am to 8pm, so you can have dinner on your own.
The catch: the standard rooms sleep only three, so a family of four needs a suite or two rooms. The beach is also 250 steps down from the lobby, with lifts and buggies if you’ve got a pram.
Book it if it's a once-in-a-decade family trip and a kids' slide is enough.
Skip it if your kids are after a big slide. The Grand Hyatt's is the one.
Grand Mirage Resort & Thalasso Bali
Grand Mirage isn’t a hotel I recommend overall. But if your kids would happily spend the whole week on slides, it has more of them than anywhere else in Nusa Dua, for the least money.
There’s a Waterslide Pool, a slide in the Family Paradise kids pool and a Mini Water Park with slides and splash features. There’s a lazy river too.
The catch: it’s cheap, and it shows. The service is inconsistent and the food is bad, which hurts more because it’s often sold all-inclusive. It’s also on Tanjung Benoa, outside the Nusa Dua gates.
Kids need to be over 100 cm for the Family Paradise slide.
Book it if your kids want slides all day and the budget is tight, and you know what you're trading.
Skip it if food and service matter to you. The Conrad down the road costs a bit more and is a different league.
Hilton Bali Resort
The Hilton isn’t a hotel I recommend overall either. But it has a 30-metre slide, the second longest on this list, dropping into the kids pool and a sandy lagoon area. If a long slide is top of your kids’ list, it’s worth a look.
The cliffside view rooms are impressive. The view and the slide are the only two reasons I’d consider it.
The catch: the beach below is rocky and unswimmable, the hotel is dated, and it’s isolated, so you’re eating in.
Book it if your kids rank a long slide above everything else, and you'll book a cliffside view room.
Skip it if you want a beach to swim at, or anywhere to walk to. The Grand Hyatt's slide is longer anyway.
The smaller kids’ slides
The Sofitel Bali Nusa Dua Beach Resort has a small toddler slide in the kids pool by its Kids Villa. I love the Sofitel as a resort, but it’s not a slide pick. With a toddler who just wants to splash, though, it’s lovely.
So, which one should you book?
- Most families: the Grand Hyatt. It has the biggest slide in Nusa Dua, for mid-range money.
- If the budget stretches: Paradisus, for a proper water park with every meal sorted.
- You want the beach and a free kids club as much as the slide: the Westin.
